Duke William

Duke William, rebuilt in 1929, is listed at Grade II for its historic interest. Originally an early urban public house rebuilt in the inter-war period along ‘improved’ lines, the Duke William pub offers a characteristic example of the Brewers’ Tudor style – made popular in the 1920s and ’30s.
The beauty of the building helps to create a relaxing atmosphere in which you can enjoy quality real ale and great food with good value.

  • Delicious!!!
We have visited the restaurant at the Duke William on several occasions (usually on a Thursday using our tastecard). The food is always absolutely delicious. We haven’t had a better meal locally. Service is also excellent and very friendly.

Spacious pub with really good bar staff. Suited for families as well and prices are reasonable. Gets busy on weekends.
